A service overview and catalog of Load Balancer provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub.

Description

The Berkeley IT Load Balancer service is provided to application and infrastructure teams who provide services in campus data centers. A virtual load balancer instance is provided to the requesting group who can then configure the load balancer appropriately for their needs.

For campus community members this service is provided as part of the Data Network Assessment. There are no additional charges to departments or users.

Data Classification

This service is rated for Protection Level P2,  Availability Level A4, and Recovery Level RL5 data.
