Campus Wi-Fi

A service overview and catalog of Campus Wi-Fi provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub.

Description

Wi-Fi is the most commonly used method for users to connect to the UC Berkeley network. Wi-Fi is provided throughout all campus buildings including most off-campus locations affiliated with the University.

eduroam

Berkeley-IoT (Internet of Things)

Follow instructions to connect based on the device you are using:

Once you have set up eduroam the first time, your device should automatically use eduroam whenever you are within an area where it is provided.

See also: Create an eduroam account; be sure to drop other Wi-Fi options in your list; If prompted, please accept the security certificate to connect to the wireless network.

Try connecting your device to eduroam first.

If your device is not compatible, or the IoT network is a better fit for its use, choose "Berkeley-IoT" from the Wi-Fi network options on your device and follow these steps to connect.
