Description
Consultation is available to the campus community regarding IT Continuity solutions. This includes facilitated interaction between IT infrastructure teams, application/functional technical managers, and campus business owners regarding IT ContinuityDisaster Recovery planning and services. We also assist campus ITDR planners in having active and up-to-date IT Continuity Disaster Recovery plans.

- Document ITDR Plans
- UC Ready is a SAAS tool funded and provided by the Office of President to document IT ContinuityDisaster Recovery Plans for your service and application. These plans include actionable, response, recovery capabilities, and dependencies.
- One of the requirements in IS-12 is to document an IT ContinuityDisaster Recovery Plan for your critical application and service. Service owners and providers review and approve these plans annually. Service providers use their documented plans to recover their service/application from an emergency or disaster situation.
- Assist with updating UC Ready to require specific fields to ensure reports meet compliance requirements.
- Assist campus ITDR planners in having active and up-to-date ITDR plans.
- DR Testing and Exercises
- Assist with scheduling and conducting recovery exercises
- Assist with Tabletop exercises
- Provide post-test reporting and gap analysis
- Automated DR Enablement
- Provide consultation for high availability, replication, or cloud-based recovery setup
- Incident Response Support (Disaster Mode)
- Provide technical assistance and coordinat during declared disaster events
- Facilitate recovery communication
