A Department Operations Center (DOC) is a centralized physical or virtual gathering of staff to fulfill the critical responsibilities of your department during emergencies and times of disruption. It serves as the department’s command center, ensuring effective communication, decision-making, and resource management during an incident. The Berkeley IT DOC is an Appendix of the campus Emergency Operations Plan
