Network & Connectivity Management

Management of the architecture, installation and operation of the campus data network to provide data connectivity across all campus facilities, the Data Center and off campus department locations. This includes physical plant such as station cabling and fiber optic infrastructure as well as network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points. This service also manages campus interconnections with regional research networks and the public internet. This service includes connectivity methods for the campus community such as Wi-Fi, wired ethernet connections and remote access VPN services.
