Service Details

The Database Administration (DBA) team offers complete packages of hardware, database software, database administration, and system administration in support of your data(base) needs. We have developed our database service packages to:

Reduce the burden of database administration work for developers.
Keep costs low for the campus by sharing resources.
Provide security within a supported environment maintained by a team of professional DBAs.

Eligibility	This service is available to UC Berkeley researchers, departmental IT, bIT service providers, and affiliated institutions.

Availability	Support is provided Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT, excluding University holidays and curtailment periods. Production Infrastructure Support is available 24/7.
