A service overview and catalog of InCommon Certificates provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub.

Description

An InCommon Certificate is a digital certificate that authenticates a website's identity and enables an encrypted connection between a web browser and a server, ensuring secure communication. It helps verify that you're actually interacting with the legitimate website.

These certificates are also known as Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates.

Available 24/7. Support is provided Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT, excluding University holidays and curtailment periods.
