A service overview and catalog of BearGPT Curated Assistants (Pilot) provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub.
Built in partnership with UC San Diego, these assistants use the UCSD TritonGPT AI platform. The pilot program — a collaboration between Berkeley IT and Berkeley People & Culture — gives departments a safe, managed and low-cost environment to test AI.
BearGPT Assistant creators and maintainers must agree to curate the underlying data for their assistants to ensure accuracy, policy compliance and consistent grounding in official campus resources.

Faculty and staff may
submit a request to access BearGPT Enterprise Assistants.
Requests are evaluated as part of the BearGPT pilot. Each chatbot requires an MOU and chartstring before activation (Internal Assistants are not cost-recovered during the pilot.
