A service overview and catalog of Printing & Related Services provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub.

Description

IT Client Services (ITCS) offers  configuration for printers and multifunction print/scan devices. When requested, a technician will connect a print/scan device to the campus network, configure security settings to meet Campus standards and configure scan-to-email. Additional requests (such as address book management) and hardware repair for print/scan devices are not supported.  UCSF Documents & Media offers a print management program to UC Berkeley with full support for printers.

Getting Started

Connecting a Device to a Printer

The Printer Installer application ( printer.berkeley.edu) is a self-service website that allows for easy installation of subscribed campus printers on Berkeley Desktop computers. For computers not using the Berkeley Desktop or printers not subscribed to the Printer Installer service, ITCS can help  connect printers to your device by request.
