Berkeley IT supports campus data, reporting & analytics via a collection of service offerings that include Cal Answers, Cal Viz and Campus Solutions (SIS) reporting.
Cal Answers, UC Berkeley’s principal reporting and analytics platform, allows users to explore current and historic campus data across a variety of subject areas—including applicant, student, finance, procurement, and human resources—for actionable insights.
Cal Viz, a paid consortium, enables campus departments to publish and deploy interactive dashboards and visualizations to broad campus audiences, as well as the public, via a Tableau Enterprise Server.
Campus Solutions (SIS) Reporting supports real-time operational reporting from Berkeley’s enterprise student information system.
