Technical Content Management (Confluence)

A service overview and catalog of Technical Content Management (Confluence) provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub.

Description

This platform serves as a central hub for institutional knowledge and content collaboration, providing a secure environment for Business Analysts (BAs) and Developers to manage project artifacts. By facilitating a unified space for architecture diagrams and process documentation, the solution ensures that critical information is preserved and remains a "single source of truth" for the organization.

The environment supports robust content lifecycle management, including version control and granular permissions for development requirements and technical details. Through its flexible architecture, teams can co-author content in real-time, ensuring that standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks and system architectures are always aligned and accessible.
